C&P at Nowhere
Come and Play is located right next to the Check-In booth. We are some way off from the playa, harboring the quietest part of Nowhere (except for the moaning).
We have no generator and only have one solar panel, because we like it rough. And because we care about ecological responsibility. Therefore, we provide a plant based diet with vegetarian options during Nowhere.
We strive to have flat hierarchies, and employ holacracy to decentralize our team organization. Everyone who joins us can choose at least one role, ranging from weather person to kitchen lead.
We are a small camp but host lots of workshops, therefore we rely on members to be proactive in the community. Our secret main kink is work. Our core burner principles are participation and community.
Our vision
Come&Play is a beacon, the distant tower on the fringe of the playa, beckoning those searching for shameless self exploration. We welcome you under our sheltering shade where we ready ourselves to lose our current form and shape. All our fantasies, insecurities, prejudice and stereotypes are molten into liquid glass. Radiant, proud prisms emerge from our workshop furnaces, venturing out across the playa, reflecting the beacon in all colours, telling others of its transformative nature.
With the blinding light force of our beacon, multiplied by the prisms, we strive to detect and break paradigms and dogma, abolish gender and stigmatise heteronormativity. When it’s all broken, utopia will emerge from the rubble: a post-sexualised (playa) society in which our bodies aren’t objects, have no roles and stereotypes assigned and we consensually follow their individual instincts without shame.
Our mission
We’re here for the filth. We are a collective of dirty-minded enthusiasts with common goals and values, that co-creates an inclusive, consensual space for discovery, exploring intimacy, sexuality, kink and BDSM. Our drug of choice is endorphins!
We aim to be accessibility friendly and ecologically responsible. We’re here for innovative, safer, queer sexual exploration and expression. We celebrate the beauty of intimacy, promote sex-positivity, provide sex/kink education, challenge social norms, in a consent-centric big playground. BDSM and sexuality can be very challenging, we encourage (after)care and personal/community responsibility.
We focus experiences through the lenses of practical reality, body and mind, less through mystics and spirits.
We aspire to be a barrio that values and respects differences, as well as various concepts of life. Together we create a community where differences counts as normal.
We strive against any kind of prejudice, discrimination, exclusion, inequality and bigotry, such as: capitalistic values, the patriarchy, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, sexism, racism, cultural appropriation, ageism, stigma or kink shaming.
Come & Play is a community-oriented barrio that always tries to be in the quietest corner of Nowhere. We like to have fun in a conscious and respectful way. C&P holds fucktons of workshops every year! C&P is a sexy rendezvous in the desert, and you’re invited!
